Business Operations Manager - Hired

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to play a pivotal role in advancing our mission of accelerating the adoption of renewable, carbon-free energy solutions. In this position, you will oversee customer-facing activities related to fulfillment and receivables, as well as internal accounting functions. The ideal candidate will combine a strong background in accounting and operations management with a deep commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage internal customer-facing operations, ensuring seamless order fulfillment and timely invoicing while upholding our commitment to sustainability.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and resolve any issues related to order fulfillment and receivables.

  • Oversee internal accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting, with a focus on transparency and accountability.

  • Manage relationships with supply chain partners and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

  • Analyze financial data and prepare reports for senior management to support strategic decision-making.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.

  • Proven experience in operations management, with a focus on fulfillment, receivables, and internal accounting functions.

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and experience working with accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve operational issues.

  • Experience managing relationships with supply chain partners and vendors.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
