How open-standard appliance orchestration will help proliferate renewable energy – Wednesday, 22 Jul 2020 at 11am-noon PST
SkyCentrics will present the compelling case for orchestrating water heaters through CTA-2045 modules to minimize grid peaks at times when electricity is expensive and carbon intensive. This reduces both costs and carbon.
This will include a presentation from Smarter Grid Solutions on their OpenADR VTN that they used to orchestrate AO Smith water heaters, Ecobee thermostats, and solar inverters and EV chargers through the SkyCentrics 2.0b certified VEN OpenADR cloud.
